Al Baker/CTS Updates
In January 2024 I was invited to join the faculty of Continental Theological Seminary as a missionary professor.
I started in the Fall of 2024, teaching Church History 1 remotely from the USA. Then I lived on campus for the Spring-2025 and taught three courses. You can read ALL of my updates to the right (or below on a cell phone).
I am about to begin my second year. Once again, I will teach the Fall semester remotely - this time I will teach two classes: Church History 1 and Luke-Acts/Synoptic Gospels. The plan is to again live on campus for Spring/2026. Heather will come for two weeks to celebrate our anniversary.
Fall Semester 2025
I am always looking for opportunities to share in churches and/or over lunch or a coffee with all who would like
to learn more about what I am doing. Our seminary is training young men and women who feel called to be pastors, worship
leaders, and youth pastors to plant and/or lead churches in Europe and Africa.
Please reach out and let me know if there would be a good time to have a 10-12 minute window in your church
or to share over a cup of coffee. Once again, I will need around $8,000 to cover all of my travel expenses and
room/board at the school.
I still do some consulting work and I am now on social security - these keep my bills paid in the USA.
All of this gives me the freedom to serve without having to raise 8x the amount.

Again, I want to thank each of you for your prayers and financial support. It means a great deal to me and without it I could not be in Belgium investing in these young people - the next generation.
